Return and Refund Policy – FINESSE
At FINESSE , each piece is produced with exacting standards, in limited quantities, by a small independent team .
This choice reflects our commitment to quality, authenticity and exclusivity, but also implies a deliberately limited logistical organization.
1. So-called "final" sales & applicable legal framework
As part of its current operations, FINESSE does not offer a standard voluntary return policy , particularly in the following cases:
- change of mind,
- personal preferences
- Delivery times related to pre-orders.
On the other hand, FINESSE offers EXCHANGES (mainly for a size error), subject to availability, and only if the product is returned in strictly new condition : unworn (except for trying on), unwashed, without odor, without traces of use, with the tags still attached and all original accessories/packaging.
All exchange requests must be made within 14 days of receiving the order. The exchange is processed after receipt and inspection of the returned product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of error attributable to FINESSE (defective/non-compliant product, order preparation error).
As such, standard orders as well as pre-orders are considered final from an internal commercial point of view , with the exception of exchanges accepted under the conditions above and cases of defective or non-conforming product. This notion of “final sale” is understood without prejudice to the legal rights of the consumer client.
The delivery times announced for pre-orders are provided for informational purposes only and correspond to production and delivery estimates.
2. Defective item or order error
Despite rigorous checks, if you notice:

Please contact us within 72 hours of receipt , providing the following information:

3. You have a right to change your mind (but it is limited)
3.1 For most Products purchased via our site, you have a legal right of withdrawal , allowing you to change your mind and obtain a refund of the sums paid for the product(s), subject to the conditions defined below.
3.2 You cannot exercise your right of withdrawal for:
3.2.1 products sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons, provided that they have been unsealed after receipt;
3.2.2 sealed audio/video recordings or sealed computer software , provided that they have been unsealed after receipt;
3.2.3 goods manufactured to your specifications or clearly personalized ;
3.2.4 goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other articles.
3.3 If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us no later than 14 days after the day we deliver your product to you.
If your order is delivered in several packages on different dates, the period begins the day after the last package is received .

Please provide your order number , the product(s) concerned and a clear statement expressing your wish to withdraw.
3.5 You must return the Product at your own expense
You must return the Product(s) (as well as any gift offered with the order) within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
Returns are at your expense , unless FINESSE expressly indicated at the time of purchase that returns were free, or in the event of an error attributable to FINESSE (defective/non-compliant product, preparation error).
You can return the Product via a carrier of your choice. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping proof of postage/receipt showing the shipping date.
Without proof of shipment, if we do not receive the package, or if it is not received within a reasonable time, no refund can be issued .
3.6 Receiving inspection and depreciation
Returned products are inspected upon receipt. If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to verify its size/fit (e.g., marks, odors, damage, removed labels, missing accessories/packaging), FINESSE may apply a deduction corresponding to the product's depreciation , in accordance with the legal framework.
